In our workshop we produce filter cloths and machine covers for various applications. For that purpose we cooperate with the best fibre manufacturers. This assures consistent quality.

Filter sleeves and pockets
Filter sleeves and filter bags are used in a variety of application areas and industries, wherever particles need to be filtered from an air- or liquid stream. Whether it concerns the food, chemical, mineral or metal industry. Filters are always custom-made according to the customer's specifications. Thanks to our extensive range of filter media, we can always offer the appropriate solution for your specific application. Filter cloths can be finished as follows: filter sleeves and filter bags with round, oval or square bottom, flat stitched, with or without extra reinforcement collar top of sleeve cut straight, with cord seam, with stainless steel snap ring, with sealing felt, with sewn-in PE, PTFE, metal or stainless steel ring filter sleeves with sewn rings distributed along the length of the sleeve
Centrifuges, drum filters, filter press cloths and vacuum belt filters
Centrifuges work by separating liquids from the product by centrifugal force. Areas of application for these types of filters are pharmaceutical and fine chemistry, but also in the food industry and R&D. The filters can range from very simple rectangular or circular filters to complicated bags with many parts. These cloths and bags are cut on our CNC laser table with high precision, so that all edges are melted. Drum filters work just like centrifuges with centrifugal force to dry the product. Applications can be found in laundries, the agricultural sector, waste water treatment and the food industry. These are mainly made in monofilaments, for this there are special fabrics that retain a very good permeability during drying. Filters are always custom-made according to the customer's specifications. Thanks to our extensive range of filter media, we can always offer the appropriate solution for your specific application. Filter press cloths work by pressing a fluid through the cloth with pressure, so that a "dry cake" remains. These cloths are made in different materials such as Polyester, Polyamide and Polypropylene. These are used in the wastewater industry, but also in the food, chemical and heavy industry. Vacuum belt filters work by removing liquids from the product by means of a vacuum on the underside of the belt, ultimately leaving the dry product or "cake". These are often used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry. They must be robust and sturdy so that they continue to run smoothly for an optimal drying process. Anode bags and cathode bags
Anode bags and cathode bags are mainly used in the metal industry. They are used for the sheathing of anode plates in electroplating baths for the reception of solid particles from gases or liquids. The anode bags are available in different materials. Permeability and chemical resistance are important parameters. The anode bags are usually made of 100% polypropylene for its resistance to acid.
Container cloths
Container cloths are mainly used in the waste sector and in water purification. They are applied for the dewatering of sludge waste, organic waste, textile waste, stone dust, etc. The container cloths are available in different materials. Permeability, strength and abrasion resistance are important parameters here. The cloths can also be made in a naturally degradable material such as jute.
Cheesecloths
A cheesecloth or mesh cloth is a filter cloth that separates the whey from the curd. This is done in the industrial and artisanal production of fresh cheese, fresh goat cheese, ricotta, ... Solana manufactures washable cheesecloths in various sizes and designs, according to the customer's wishes. Usually, one opts for a cheese bag with hanging loops or rings. For example, seams can also be provided in which bars are inserted. A food-safe, strong fabric with a certain permeability is used as a cheesecloth. Usually this is in a synthetic material because it is more dimensionally stable (thermofixed) and is stronger. In addition, the fabric is acid and light resistant, mold and rot free. Cheese cloths in natural cotton fiber are also possible. The fabrics can also be obtained per meter.
Cartridge filters
Solana distributes filter cartridges for dedusting installations, welding fume extraction, sandblasting booths ... Due to their pleated filter material, these filter cartridges have a large filter surface in a relatively small space. They are available in various BIA certified media such as polyester, polypropylene or cellulose. There are also variants that are finished with a PTFE, anti-static, oil and water-repellent coating or PTFE membrane.
Air filtration: bag filters, panel filters and absolute filters
Air filters ensure that air is purified from all unwanted substances, this can range from pollen to smoke, and odors can also be filtered. At Solana you can find a range of air filter material, Filter medium on a roll (coarse or fine): Filter medium as standard on a roll or cut to size on our CNC laser table, making it the perfect fit for your application. Solana distributes bag filters for HVAC and industrial dedusting. These bag filters have been tested in independent laboratories to standard EN779: 2012 and ISO16890. Made in Polyester with coarse filter medium and polypropylene fibers for fine filter medium. Supplied in a plastic or galva frame. Solana distributes panel filters for HVAC and industrial dedusting. These panel filters have been tested in independent laboratories to standard EN779: 2012 and ISO16890. Made in synthetic fabrics such as polyester (with an anti-batiriel effect), in micro glass fibers or glass fiber with operating temperatures up to 300 ° C. Also available with activated carbon and therefore has a slightly deodorizing effect. Supplied in a water resistant cardboard- or galva frame. Solana distributes absolute filters, also known as hepa filters, for HVAC, food, laboratories, hospitals and clean rooms. These absolute filters are tested in independent laboratories to the standard EN 1822: 2009. Made in micro fiberglass. Supplied in an MDF, galva or extruded and anodized aluminum frame.
Flexible connections
Flexible connections, also called cuffs or flexibles. These connect installations that move independently of each other, where there is often no fixed connection possible. Think of sieve / shaker installation for the food and cement industry. These flexible connections ensure that vibrations and sound cannot be transferred and that metal fatigue, etc. is considerably reduced. Because of their flexible character, these are easy to assemble. Cuffs are assembled in different ways; from simple single-walled sleeves to sleeves with 3 layers. Screen Mesh
Screen mesh is a precision mesh fabric made of monofilaments with a constant mesh width, made from various materials such as polyester, polypropylene, polyamide, E-CTFE, and PEEK. The precision fabric is used as a filter cloth in industrial processes, both for liquid filtration and for dedusting. Solana has an extensive range of mesh sizes, from 1 micron to 5000 micron. The mesh is sold per meter or is confected by Solana for a wide variety of applications. Some examples of applications: primary water purification, screen printing, collection of textile fibers during drying processes, dedusting of production halls, dewatering of sludge, etc.
Metal wire mesh
Solana distributes woven metal mesh for filtration. Metal mesh is a precision mesh fabric with a constant mesh width, made from various materials such as stainless steel AISI 304 (L), stainless steel AISI 316 (L) or galvanized steel wire. Solana stocks various mesh sizes. The metal mesh is sold per roll or is cut to size by Solana. Metal mesh is often used in applications where textile mesh is not sufficient due to durability and mechanical resistance.
