      Silicone Weighing Bellows

      Weighing bellows are for the flexible connection of mixers, feeders or vessels on weighing cells to supply lines, drain pipes or other forms of air or powder transport. Silicones are well known for the supple and flexible properties. These flexible connections produce little to no reactive force and therefore do not influence the weighing. The bellows also prevent the transfer of vibrations and sound. This is all due to the SPECIALLY designed shape of these flexible silicone weighing bellows. These weighing bellows are made from silicone rubber and are available in the following diameters Ø 50, 60, 75, 100, 120,150,200,250,300 and Ø 350mm, all with a 90mm height. The applied material is semi transparant silicone rubber which is safe for use with foodstuffs according to FDA and ECC regulations.

We can design a silo mixer (also known as batch mixer, feed mixer, blending silo and mixing silo) according to your specific requirements. Depending on the product certain mixing specifications apply, for example: agglomerate size, bulk density and volume. Silo mixers are designed to homogenize ‘free-flowing’ batches from 10,000 up to 150,000 litres for various industries (for example: feed, food and chemical industry). FEATURING - conical vessel to avoid product residue after discharging - diameters up to 3 meters - conveying screw in a vertical downpipe - produces mixtures without segregation - low energy consumption - low maintenance In addition to its mixing characteristics, silo mixers are also used to prevent products from segregation during storage between different steps of the production process. A silo mixer can for example store hygroscopic materials. It provides continuous motion restricting normally the materials to agglomerate. As every industry demands various standards we offer additional options to choose from, such as: top and side feeding plates, choice to load from top and/or bottom, fluidization bottom to prevent bridging and designs suitable for drying, cooling and degassing.
