AVK REPICO® couplings and repair clamps
AVK's Repico product program consists of stainless steel couplings and repair clamps with dimensions from DN 15 up to DN 2000 depending on Repico type. These products are fully assembled and ready to install with only a torque wrench and without pipe-end preparation. They do not only guarantee a fast and simple assembly, but also offer an economical and sustainable solution. There are AVK Repico types to absorbs vibration, bending, noise and expansion.
AVK Supa Maxi™ universal tensile couplings
AVK’s Supa Maxi™ range of universal tensile couplings sets a new standard. The patented SupaGrip™ sealing support system with flexible bracket ensures full support of the gasket and full tensile strength on all pipe types up to PN 16. Supa Maxi™ couplings are very easy to mount with the possibility of ±4° angular deflection, the permanent protection caps, the lifting eye and the fact that they are tightened from the sleeve side with no need for re-tightening the bolts.
Accessories
AVK extension spindles in fixed length are designed for ease of use and long service life. The patented design facilitates fast and easy shortening of the extension spindle as the complete adjustment can be done by mere use of a hacksaw. The extension spindles are made of corrosion-free materials and the bottom cover protects against penetration of impurities.
Couplings & adaptors
The combi-flange is part of AVK’s combi-flange system comprising tensile combi-flanges for PE, PVC and ductile iron pipes as well as non-tensile combi-flanges for PVC, steel and ductile iron pipes. The ductile iron flanges are epoxy coated according to DIN 30677-2 and AVK guidelines.
Repair clamps & tapping saddles
AVK tapping saddles are easy to mount, maintenance free and designed for long life. A large profiled rubber gasket of drinking water approved EPDM ensures a drop tight seal against a rough pipe surface. The depth of the BSP thread is kept to a minimum to ensure that no raw threads are exposed to the medium once the male thread fitting is mounted. The nuts are located in a recess to prevent them from rotating when tightening the bolts.
Control valves
AVK diaphragm operated control valves for pressure reducing applications (PRV) automatically reduce a higher inlet pressure to a lower outlet pressure. The outlet pressure is kept constant, regardless of changes in flow rate or inlet pressure. The main control valve is pilot operated, capable of a precise setting and easy adjustment of outlet pressure. In case of reverse system pressure the control valve closes preventing back flow.
Surface boxes
AVK offers a wide range of fixed and height adjustable surface boxes in various dimensions, which can be used in many fields of application. Apart from economic benefits, AVK synthetic surface boxes are lightweight, user-friendly, easy to open, noiseless and maintenance free. Most of AVK surface boxes are designed and approved according to DIN/EN standards, but can also be designed according to local standards or customer specifications. The carbon footprint (CO2 emission) of synthetic surface boxes, measured from resource to end of life, is significantly lower compared to surface boxes made of traditional materials, making AVK surface boxes ecologically sound.

Strainers
The Y-strainers are installed in water systems to filter out pebbles and other impurities that could damage the equipment. They are designed with focus on easy maintenance and low head loss.
Service connection valves
AVK resilient seated service connection valves are designed with built-in safety in every detail. The wedge is vulcanized with AVK’s own drinking water approved EPDM rubber compound. It features an outstanding durability due to the ability of the rubber to regain its original shape, the double bonding vulcanization process and the sturdy wedge design. The triple safety stem sealing system, the high strength stem and the thorough corrosion protection safeguard the unmatched reliability.

Air valves
AVK automatic air valves are designed with a very soft and sensitive seal. It enables effective discharge of accumulated air from the system while it is under pressure. The automatic air release valve are lightweight and compact with a 12mm2 orifice enabling a release of air at high flow rates not being exposed to obstruction by debris. All operating parts are made of specially selected corrosion-resistant materials.
Ball check valves
AVK ball check valves are self-cleaning and with full bore. The ball rotates during operation eliminating the risk of impurities getting stuck on the ball. The full and smooth bore ensures full flow with low pressure loss and eliminates the risk of deposits at the bottom. AVK ball check valves are available with flanges and internal threads. They are delivered with NBR lined ball as standard and optionally with ball of polyurethane available in different weights.
Check valves
AVK swing check valves come with both metal and resilient seats. Installed in pumping applications to prevent back flow they can be used for drinking water as well as waste water. The disc is connected to the shaft via a flexible bush that allows disc and valve seat to adjust exactly. All interior parts are stainless steel or coated with drinking water approved epoxy or EPDM. The series 41 valves are available with either closed bushings or protruding shaft end where a lever with a weight or a spring can be fitted to mitigate pressure surges.
Penstocks & stop logs
AVK wall penstocks are square or rectangular with resilient sealing on all four sides of the slide. They are bi-directional up to and including 1200 X 1200 and in larger sizes available as bi- and uni-directional. The penstocks are with non-rising stem and closed frame, and are designed for wall mounting. AVK wall penstocks are also available with rising stem and for embedding in concrete. All penstocks in the comprehensive product range feature a low leakage rate and a reliable operation.
Knife gate valves
AVK lug/wafer knife gate valves are bi-directional with full and plane bore. The protected sealings and high quality materials bring about a great performance and a long service life. AVK knife gate valves are available with lever, (non-)rising stem and handwheel, pneumatic actuator, ISO top flange for actuator or complete with electric actuator.
