Products & services

Jacob flexible connections (FSC)

Jacob flexible connections (FDM)
FDM is a flexible connection equipped with a pressed on JACOB coupling, assembled with replaceable gaskets and secured by clamps. Filcoflex FDM improves your modular Jacob pipework system through its airtight, leak proof, and easy connect design. Producing an FDM connector requires a flexible sleeve to be pressed on to JACOB flanges. This sleeve can be made from materials such as thermoplastics, rubbers, and silicones. Aside from this, FDM can be made with a variety of thicknesses and gasket materials. Because FDM is highly customizable, we can create flexible connectors for many applications, including weighing and dosing techniques, ATEX, foodstuffs, chemical, color, and metal detection. Our expertise ensures a 100% airtight connection with a smooth flow profile.
