High-efficiency IE2–IE3-IE4 electric motors, IEC063–355, from 0.12kW up to 500kW for industrial applications

ELK Motor standard electric motors are designed to provide reliable, efficient and flexible drive solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. Manufactured according to European standards, ELK motors are available in high-efficiency IE2, IE3 and IE4 classes, supporting both energy-saving requirements and modern industrial operating conditions.

The standard motor range covers IEC frame sizes 63 to 315, with three-phase motors available across a broad range of power ratings. ELK offers motors with aluminium housings as well as cast-iron housings, providing suitable solutions for different mechanical and environmental requirements.

A key advantage of the ELK design is its mechanical flexibility. Depending on the frame size, detachable feet can be positioned on different sides of the motor, allowing convenient adaptation of the mounting arrangement and terminal-box position. Standard motors are supplied with the terminal box positioned on top.

ELK standard motors feature Class F insulation, while the temperature rise remains within Class B limits under rated operating conditions. This provides an additional thermal safety margin and contributes to dependable operation and service life. Motors can also be supplied with optional Class H insulation for specific applications.

Standard motors are available with common mounting configurations such as B3, B5, B14, B35 and B34, while additional options can be selected for particular installation requirements. The motors are also suitable for use with variable frequency drives, making them applicable to systems where speed control and energy optimisation are required.
