Depending on the application, the OMEGA drive is attached to the load to be moved and then pulls it along the round steel chain or moves it from a different location. In contrast to chain drives, the system is completely unaffected by natural movements of the ground or the load due to thermal expansion and contraction as well as torsion - the round steel chain compensates for such deviations.
